Sofía (she/her/hers) was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She was a sophomore transfer from the University de Puerto Rico to Cornell University majoring in Communication. Since her graduation in 2019, Sofía has been a paralegal for a death penalty case and has volunteered with the Cornell Center on the Death Penalty Worldwide. One of her passions is advocating for the eradication of the death penalty.

During undergrad, Sofía lived in Keeton, became an AC, and worked in the house office. She looks forward to her 5th year calling Keeton home surrounded by the vibrant staff and residents. Sofía is a second-year MPA student with a concentration in Human Rights and Social Justice. 

Outside of school, Sofía loves spending time with her dog, making coffee, listening to music, dancing, and watching reality tv.
