Odalys is a third-year PhD student in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. She earned her B.S. in Geology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she studied the formation and evolution of continents. At Cornell, Odalys is experimentally calibrating a new temperature chronometer to constrain temporal records in arc magmas. Outside of research, she enjoys dancing by the lake, cooking for her friends, and volunteering in her local community.
